Welcome to the website of Burtonwood Amateur Music & Drama Society. The society was founded in 1984 by Bryan Maffit who is now the chairman and Judith Maffit We are are a drama group based in Burtonwood, Warrington. The society reached its 21st anniversary this year. Over the past years our society has developed the name AMADS short for its full name and this is the name it is referred by our members and the general public who are familiar with our society.

Our society consists of members ranging from primary school children to retired people. We always try to get as many people as possible from the community involved with our society. The society puts on about 3 to 4 shows a year for the general public.

The Burtonwood AMADS welcomes anyone who is interested to join our society. People do not have to be actors or actresses to join the society. People who are interested at backstage work, play instruments or are good with lighting can join the society if they are interested in helping us out with our productions.

If you want to be a member of our society you can fill the online form on our website and drop in at the Burtonwood Catholic Club where we do our rehearsals on Mondays or Wednesdays form 7.30pm to 10.00pm.
